Brent’s background runs from early-stage startups through Wayfair’s ~4,000-engineer organization. The practice is focused on scientific and technical teams, where small groups routinely carry production responsibility without dedicated platform or DevOps support.
He led platform and SRE organizations of up to 32 engineers at Wayfair, restored Nursa’s application uptime from 84% to 99.97%, and stood up the SRE function at IBM Resilient across HIPAA, ISO 27001, and GDPR regulated environments.
